It can be a lonely and sometimes traumatic experience to move into a new city, neighborhood or parish. Our Parish Welcoming Committee does its best to cushion some of the shock of such a move. They make a phone call and/or send a personal handwritten note welcoming new members of our Parish Family into our community. The committee provides information about our parish and does whatever they can to help newcomers find their spiritual home here at St. Francis de Sales. They also try to greet all of our parishioners arriving at weekend Masses so all feel welcome. There is always a need for more men and women to serve God and our Parish in this uniquely Christian Way. Please call the Parish Office to leave a message if you are interested in joining this very rewarding ministry. One of our Committee members will return your call.

St. Francis de Sales Youth Group is open to all high-school age parishioners who also attend religious education classes here at the Parish. The goal of the Youth Group is to provide an opportunity for high-school students to build community, foster fellowship among their peers and experience spiritual growth in an atmosphere of acceptance, love and understanding. The Group seeks to help students recognize their gifts, and draw them into responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic Church. We hope they become our link of trust and service between the young and the old. For additional information on joining or helping, please contact Mr. Naftali Tolibas, Marie Kalberer, or Sarah Peacock.
